Cooperative banking has worlwide a very long tradition – and this is the reason why the Raiffeisen banking family in Austria – Tirol wants to permanently update its strategy to cope best also in future. More than 120 leaders of local and regional  banks put their heads together to check the challenges. Just recently our consulting team with Marion Keil and Workneh Denekew have conducted a system´s diagnosis at the CBN, the Central Bank of Nigeria. Nigeria has set up a challlenging financial service strategy for the country, thriving for being one of the 20 biggest global economic players in the year 2020. A Project Management Office (PMO) has been established to coordinate all the activities with the various stakeholders. After interviewing internal and external stakeholders of this PMO we fed back our assumptions to the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Currently we are doing applied research in three areas of work:

• International consulting business – our group of 8 researchers we are conducting a small qualitative research with our clients in this respect

• Complementary Consulting – we are writing a book on this topic, it is further developing and deepening the systemic consulting approach. In this book you will find practical examples and theoretical insight. It will be published in German, but articles will be available in English as well.Buchtitel

Wir arbeiten gerade ain drei angewandten Forschungsbereichen:

• Internationales Beratungsgeschäft – mit unserer Gruppe von 8 Forschern bereiten wir gerade eine kleine qualitative Studie mit unseren Kunden vor,
• System Diagnose – wir entwickeln dieses wunderbare systemische Tool weiter
• Komplementärberatung – wir schreiben wieder ein Buch dazu, das zweite, welches noch mehr in die Praxis geht und auch thearetsich reflektiert. Es wird im Herbst unter dem Titel “Komplementärberatung in der Praxis – Rasche Optimierung bei nachhaltiger Entwicklung”  bei Schäffer-Poeschel erscheinen.
